Our Aims
Precision
Aeroform Australia is a manufacturing group, whose aim is to specialize in both
formed sheet metal and billet machined components for the aviation restoration
enthusiast.

Why
Aircraft Components?
Precision Aeroform Australia came about as a result of a personal interest of
Director Graham Smith, in restoring his Curtiss P40E Kittyhawk aircraft. While
collecting components for his restoration, Graham realized that parts were very
difficult to obtain, if they were even in existence.
However with his engineering, tool making and quality assurance background, and having owned and operated a computer based engineering workshop for the past 15 years, he felt that the potential to manufacture components for his and other restoration projects could lead to an ease and acceleration in any restoration.
How
do we achieve this?
Utilizing
existing unserviceable components and original drawings, an extensive computer
aided design programme has been undertaken with the aim of accurate remanufacture
of certifiable and conforming parts.
Over a period of nearly three years Precision Aeroform Australia have been 'tooling up' for the project, amassing, a one-thousand ton hydraulic rubber press, specialized heat treatment ovens, sheet metal bending, folding and forming machinery, a computer operated digitizer and precision form routing machine.
All this added to our current computer based workshop, of lathes and machining centers; means that we are able to produce from both technical drawings and existing unserviceable parts, almost any component that the restorer may require.

What
about Experimental Aircraft?
Precision Aeroform Australia can manufacture for any experimental class aircraft.
By simply supplying drawings for the required component.
We are currently searching for an aircraft design suitable for "kit plane" manufacture, and would be interested in discussing this with you, if you feel you have an appropriate "all-metal" design.
Global
Services
Our capacity to offer our services globally via the World Wide Web allows our
customers access to our facilities from Adelaide to Zurich. Secure electronic
